The Core Values are a huge part of what makes our team successful. When we center ourselves on these values, we keep getting better and better.
We are stronger when we work together.
Teamwork is our greatest strength and we know it. We've known each other since Kindergarten and have been doing robotics together for 3 years. It's hard sometimes when things don't go perfectly, but we've seen first hand that when we lift each other up and work as a team we can rise to every occasion.
We respect each other and embrace our differences.
We know that we all have different strengths, and we use that to our advantage. Some of us are great communicators, some of us are great coders, some of us are great builders, some are super creative. We use those strengths and recognize their value. We learn from each other, and know that every single one of us is a part of making this team great.
We explore new skills and ideas.
We learn so many cool new things in robotics each season. We keep our minds curious and are excited to learn about the world and how we can use what we learn to make it better.
In MASTERPIECE we visitied the visited the Children's Center for the Visually impaired and gained new perspective on playing sports with differing abilities.
In SUBMERGED we learned how to SCUBA dive, and about the challenging conditions of being under water.
In UNEARTHED we cleaned Native American artifacts at the Kansas Historical Society and learned about artifact cleaning processes.
We use creativity and persistence to solve problems.
The Innovation Project is one of our favorite parts of robotics! There are so many big problems to solve in the world. We love coming up with an idea, digging into the details, and solving something real that can make people's lives better. Our solutions don't always work on the first try, but we test, iterate, and improve until we make something we're really proud of.
Operation Enlightened
An underwater rope light to help cave divers find their way out and back.
We apply what we learn to improve our world.
We love when we can create things that impact our community, and when we can share our experiences to inspire others to do the same. We love to share our experiences with robotics, and have inspired other robotics teams to start at our school. We hope that sharing our experiences can help other kids grow and learn to make an impact in their communities too.

We enjoy and celebrate what we do!
We always find a way to have fun! We really are just a bunch of friends who are curious about the world and like to solve problems. We love hanging out with each other. Sometimes it's a time for goofing, and sometimes we lock in to succeed. And when we do, we love celebrating our success together.
